At our April meeting, SPARC members and guests resumed building the 6m J-Pole antennas that we began in March. The final step in constructing the antenna is to tune it by shortening the resonating wire element. By taking a reading with an antenna analyzer or VNC, we were able to determine if the antenna would resonate on a particular frequency.
